¡Hola Marzo!
Hello March!
Last Thursday was my brother's birthday, so we held a party at home yesterday. It amazes me how kids love birthday parties. Whoever's, wherever. You say birthday party and a half-moon smile sprouts in their faces instantaneously. And their help offering...
And while working on the preparations they ask: ¿what about the cake?. You already know that it must be a chocolate cake.
And the balloons... They get so excited filling up the house with dozens of coloured balloons.
Now the balloons will stay hung for a couple of days, because every time you mention that the party is over, a sad expression cloudies their faces.
The truth is, what's wrong about having balloons floating over our heads for a few days, anyway?

hello again. great to see some colors after a grey day. it was a good day anyway. i'm always looking for that kind of party decorations (what are they called, these paper things?), but i don't find them in finland.
and thank you for sweet comments!
the photos and text are fabulous!
i love the way you described the "half-moon smile" that "sprouts"...so poetic!
I agree to the comment above, your english is so enjoyable to read. We are heading for a birthday party today. Kids; SO excited. Within a week we'll have one of our own, too : ) Gotta start decoration planning! Sunny Sunday to you!

I love the colors in these photos. So festive!
hanna, this party decoration is called "guirnalda" in Spanish. I've looked up in the English dictionary an it says "garland (like Judy?). Don't you have little shops run by chinese in Finland? It's easy to find here. I'll send you some if you want.
Thanks for your supporting comments on my English; when I started blogging i hadn't talked in English in a long time. The sound of words when I write still feels funny.
Lucía, el libro es bueno, me emociona. Pero no soy muy objetiva :D
jill, have a festive week! ;)
