Workplace? Do you mean... that exists??

Christine has tagged me to post a photo of my workplace. Not having a proper place to work right now I post these to give you an idea:

Day and Night.

Although I try to draw or paint during the day, it's close to imposible. Some years ago I used to paint in my kitchen, where I felt comfortable and had a great space for it. Nowadays my daughters colonize every room in the house, they need attention, they want to draw near me and to be drawed little children drawings, and we have such fun... So, you see, isolation is only available at night. On the sofa, surronded by sketch books and ink pens and markers, the night brings me my silent moment, when I listen to my thoughts and take notes of ideas for soon to be works. This is all there is by now.

I'd like to peek at a bunch of people's workplaces. If they don't mind to play, I'll start asking Maria, Sara y Andrea.

Music: "My midnight" by Steve Wynn

My midnight's never late and always slow/a smile and a nod and it's time to go/And when I start to think that I'm wasting my time/ My midnight strikes me down with a single chime. My midnight's never brave and never strong/ It just waits patiently until I come along/ And when I think I've found a place and a time/ That's when my midnight comes and leaves me blind.

Your workingspace(s) looks so nice! Although I have my studio in the school I mostly work at home in the livingroom, kitchen or bed;)but I try to paint in the studio because I'm too messy with the paint..
I like the beach painting, did you make it??
Thank you again for tagging me!!

Maria, lucky you! I wish I had a studio! Sometimes I dream of renting one (or bulding one in the backyard, ha, ha); maybe in a year time... And yes, I went through a beach paintings period. I'll post some pictures sometime.

Ah yes, I'm reduced to a corner of the livingroom. Jay just built a studio in the garden which I'm coveting! I was planning on a workspace post this week too! But mine is awaiting order and cleanliness, which is what I'm off to do...

having a set time to work is good, though you don't have a space to leave things set up and ready

I often draw at the dining room table at night, to be close to my family. Even though I have my basement studio space, it's not always the place I can be the most creative!I love your black and white drawings, stay with them for awhile!

It's nice you work in sketch books, I'm all digital now and miss have really sketches sometimes, I'll have to get a nice brush and inkwell just to play. I empathize with your work space cramp, I'm at a desk crammed into my bedroom...

Thanks for great comments on my blog, made my day!

Maria, j, diana: I'll post some of my paintings as soon as I take pictures of them or find the pictures I took at the time.
Nina; I assure you that I'm enjoying so much this black and white period and it fits so well with my day to day lifestyle that it'll last long...
Design for mankind, I'll be proud to be featured in your blog. I love your blog! And, yes, my works are for sale, although I don't have an etsy shop or similar. People just have to contact me.

Thanks everybody!
