Kiss me while I touch the sky

Estas son unas piezas de mis cuadernos, de la serie que me ha dado por llamar "Agarrame ese cielo". Por el momento son sólo esbozos que me gustaría convertir en algo mucho más grande.

These are some sketchings from the series "Get me some sky". For the moment I keep the idea of making a big painting out of these rough drafts...

love the title. Kiss me while I touch the sky--its that sense of outpouring from the heart into life. Its a truth.

i really like the "get me some sky" idea. very sweet.
i often have the feeling that i would like to pull down some sky and wrap myself in it.

Thanks for the kind comments.
I truly feel like sometimes we could all get us some sky, to light up our lives, to protect our loved ones, to fill up our curiosity cup, to redecorate our walls and world... Anything.
(And as for the title... well, yes, some of you've guessed right, it's a twist of the famous "excuse me while I kiss the sky".)

Nice idea and composition on this, I like the negative space shapes and that her dress is blacker than space :)

Have you heard some scientist invented a new black material, blacker by 30% than any other black? I wonder if they'll make a paint out of it...

esti, these are so beautiful!! one of my favorite memories was driving through the desert in the middle of the night in new mexico. we were far away from the city and the only light we had were from the stars. your drawings remind me so much of that moment.

eli, if you ever find such paint, let me know, we'll share!
montmartre, thanks for sharing those thoughts. something similar happened to me once at the Mojave desert. The night was so clear and bright...
