Eyes wide open

Gracias

Many times blogging has a positive effect. It's not only because the inmediate reaction to my drawings, my pictures, my book, my little stories or my ramblings. Not only because of the inmediate satisfaction I get from all the support and encouragement I feel from the comments. It's also because I learn a lot from the different appretiations and points of view about the art process and being an artist who blogs that other people write about. I've read quite a few, and some of their words have sticked to my mind, as for instance those of Lisa Solomon and Heather Moore.

My blog is my personal fishtank. A world of limited, significant, exhibition, full of symbols. Under the stare of my people and the people on the other side of my screen, nothing goes unnoticed, and you end up sharing your moments, trusting that there's always somebody who will understand your words.
Thank you

it is a fishtank, isn't it? i often wonder whether i'm sharing too much - or not enough. blurb shipped my copy yesterday; can't wait to receive it :)

I am amazed at the new perspective and meaning blogging has put on things for me. I really connect with what Heather said about it being an added incentive to finish something that might otherwise have gathered dust. As an artist who is a mother that has been invaluable to me.

And Esti, people (artists/mothers) like you are the shining stars that make blogland the wonderland it is. Thank you! :-)

what a lovely post. i completely agree, although i haven't been blogging for very long compared to some, it's been a true gift to connect with folks by documenting my own creative process. a delight!

Esti, I think that's it: you hope or think there is somebody who is with you when you are blogging, whether known or unknown.
