The gift and the flood

Jo!

Some Swedish blog I read said the weekend was going to bring them temperatures of 30º C. The world has gone wrong. Here it's been an intense weekend thanks to the rain, not the heat.
Persistent, unstoppable, tenacious rain. And then the flood, leaks and moments of uncertainty. The overflowed river, the force of water, the paralyzed Sunday life, nerves, ducks on the sidewalks, eyes set in clouds and sea tides… A small scare.
Meanwhile, sheltered and in good company, the draw arrived. And the winner is…. Jo! So the chosen drawing, “Melosa can't help it”, will be flying to Mexico.
Thanks everybody for participating. I promise there will be more chances to win in the future.

Ah what fun you guys must have had with the draw. Congratulations Jo, I'm sure you'll treasure this drawing.

That rain looks spectacular. We in Melbourne are wishing for just a little bit of that. You're right, the climate has gone wrong. I hope the flood damage around you wasn't to bad. xo lj

P.S. Enjoy listening to Dylan. I am currently listening to Theme Time Radio Hour... songs about days of the week. I'm up to Wednesday and there aren't too many songs about Wednesday.

gracia, ha ha, if I think about wednesday songs only Simon & Garfunkel or drive by Truckers come to mind.
For thrusday I would say Morphine, Jim croce...
And for Friday or Saturday should be easier: Joe Jackson, Sunny Dale real state...
Enjoy your week songs on the radio!!

Yes, something in the world is wrong. I hope my husband is not in an area with flood now when he is in Spain. But I think that we maybe have the same temperature, thats not common for this time early in summer...
