Dirty from the rain

Uno de esos días desapacibles
One of those unpleasant days

El sonido glorioso del granizo al golpear suelo, cristales y tejados
The glorious sound of hail hitting ground, window panes and roofs

Look up in the sky this night and something just wasn’t right…
But ain’t that the norm?
Peculiar feeling inside like it’s filling up a whole other form…
But ain’t that the norm?

sounds like you got our terrible weather too! i love that first image, it reminds me of your drawings too, there is something about the composition, and the black and white effect of it.

like someone said in a comment, it's wonderful to see your drawings every day! hood pictures are very cute. and some rain is good. we suddenly have snow, 4th day already!
oh, and it's very dangerous to read a line from a song, i have Pixies playing in my head since yesterday...

i like the live, action, motion, raining in time quality of your post. Hail on roofs is a nice sound--unless they are big, like golf balls, then it is a bit distracting. :)

nice

It's always SO pleasant to visit your blog : ) Beautiful hooded profiles! The flower girl from yesterday was cute, too. For me, it reminded Hayao Miyazaki's Totoro. Have your girls seen it? Like it? My daughter loves it, and Kiki's Delivery Service.

instantanees, pia, you are too sweet.
hanna, i've been playing Pixies today at work too. Sometimes it happens this way :)
mansuetude, I haven't seen hail as golf balls in a long long long time! The sound has to be worth recording...
Stardust, I only knew about Princess Mononoke and Chihiro's journey. I'll check those you said and we'll see. thanks.

Those two are a bit too scary for my daughter at the moment.. Totoro's & Kiki's age limit is 3 years. I really recommend them. Lovely stories : )

Me dan respingos de verte ahí fuera bajo el granizo. Pero tengo que reconocer que las fotos son muy bonitas, los dibujos ya ni te cuento.

Besos.

another comment for today! Totoro is the first film we ever started to watch with V, she loved it already when she was under 2. it's a long movie of course, so we saw only parts. and she still never watches anything alone. it's one of my favorite movies, obviously. and Nausicaa.

casita de wendy, soy muy fan de tu ropa!!! gracias por el cumplido, me ha hecho una ilusión tremenda. Espero que sigas dandome tu opinión de vez en cuando. Gracias

I like these together:D
Though you say it´s a unpleasant day...I think it looks nice...Sometimes rain "washes your head clean"...
