Yesterday it was slow, today it's dark, but it's a Monday anyway

Yesterday it was that kind of Sunday: you start the day with lots of energy and big plans and it ends up being a lazy day, underlined by the sensation of coming down with the flu. I might have wasted all my strength early in the morning, tidying up our larder/junk room, but the fact is that by the afternoon all we wanted to do was lazing about.
Well, that's what Sundays are made for, right?
And Mondays are mean to jump and to make new starts.
Last night I had a marvelous dream that I've run to roughly sketch this morning. Of course, now that I've dropped the kids at school, that I have driven my mom-in-law to the doctor, that I've mistaken a road back home and I have found myself watching faraway factories' chimneys spitting put white and grey smoke while I drove; now that I have taken my coat, my scarf, my gloves and boots off, now it was the perfect time to sit down and draw. Yesterday I thought it'd be good to document the process from the original idea and share it with you, but I have just realized husband has taken the cameras with him and I cannot do it. Anyway, it's so dark outside that there's not enough light to take any decent pictures.
The image from my dream is still intact and I really feel like drawing it, so we'll leave the photography for another day.
