Down by the river

As I was saying...
After a wonderful dinner in a relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by art pieces, Miles Davis' music playing on the background and peculiar hosts, the day after we embarked to explore Bilbao's river.
Let's rewind.
Some months ago I received a message from this wonderful people, explaining a charity project: the Walk on Project (WoP). This project has been made to generate awareness towards a rare disease (leucodistrofia) which the son of one of these guys is suffering. They aim to build a strong support group and develop many ideas. Well, their website explains it all way better.
Among those who are joining the project are my friend Steve Wynn and his wife Linda. Before getting into the recording studio for a musical collaboration, these guys from the WoP invited me to come along with them, including ship stroll.
Despite the pouring rain, the stroll was extraordinary. Bilbao in its purest: damp, cold, gray, trying to lift off but still retaining unmistakable features of its industrial past. After setting foot onland again, under my umbrella, with frozen smile and hands, we kept walking through wet streets, talking and laughing with newmade friends.
