Azul y gris

For a long time life has consisted in cramming tasks in consecutive chunks of time. Now time flows freely or so it seems. At the end of the day I am exhausted as well, but I feel it's different. The beach, on the other hand, feels the same every single time. You know I'm always making speeches about the beach and its goodness, almost daily as a matter of fact, especially in the summer, but I could understand why anyone wouldn't get this fascination of mine. I wish I could infect people with my enthusiasm, not because I wish to see more crowded beaches (I assure you they are crowded enough), but because I wish the beach could give everybody what it gives me: calmness.

I know exactly how you feel. The beach is so grounding, bare feet on the sand. But also so invigorating, with all that ocean stretched out before you.

I used to love going to see the how the beach had changed everyday. Everyday the sands had changed, and the shoreline had moved into a different line.

oh, flossy, the difference being you live in Australia, land of never-ending beaches and beautiful shorelines. Compared to that, my beach here is a crowded and a little dirty patch of sand. But it's what I have, I must add, and it's all it takes to make me happy. Well, that and the company, needless to say.

Oh! Now I want to paint my toes too. I want to paint them such a pretty shade of blue.

He venido verdaderamente vigorizada.
