When summer begins

Cosas de Junio:
La exhibición ya ha acabado;
Gracias.
Las niñas empiezan vacaciones;
volveré a pintar y escribir de noche. Dormiré menos.
Nos viene a visitar nuestra familia de Lanzarote;

June stuff:
So the exhibit is over;
I'm so glad some of the pieces went into good hands. Thanks.
Girls begin summer vacation;
I'll have to go back to drawing and writing at night. I'll sleep less.
Family from Lanzarote come visit us;
we'll squeeze in as better as we can.
Plus...
sand will be brought home in our clothes and will spread on the floor, tomatos will grow in the patio, work hours will slow down, flies will fill our home at noon, we'll stock up our fridge with ice-creams and sorbets,
clothes will dry lining in the sun, and we'll sleep with just a single light sheet on.
And this is just the beginning.

Today's music:
Carole King

your descriptions are always so vivid. You make med feel the sand in my own clothes and smell the ripe tomatoes ... even though there is no sand here and I grow no tomatoes...

I'm happy your show went well!
