My aunt Bea

Zorionak!

When I was a kid I knew summer was over when my aunt Bea's birthday party took place. She always organized a big celebration which gathered children all around. Just by opening her house door you were entering a world of small surprises and candy for all.
I remember some pretty umbrellas she gave me and my cousins, each one in a different color. My aunt Bea.
My aunt Bea is my aunt only because she's my gramma's best friend ever since they met exiled in Venezuela over sixty years ago. They have kept their friendship longer than any other people I've known. She's a chosen relative.
My aunt Bea, she, a woman from San Sebastian at heart, can't help but be northamerican and smile happily everytime you speak in English to her. My aunt Bea.
My aunt Bea turns ninety today.
Happy Birthday!
