John Franks

I want to celebrate dreadful San Valentine's day (never been too affectionate, I'm afraid) with this painting I bought from a friend. John Franks is a versatile artist. His drawings and surf paintings are so unmistakable and worth checking. Plus he sings, writes and plays guitar in his band Smile... And he drives girls nuts!

The "Love hurts" drawing is funny and true I think. You looked on a painful thing with humour, that's great.
