Four

In the morning I have four eyes and I need no less than four hands To be able to get out of house. At least I eat four cookies with my breakfast and the bench where I'd like to stop and contemplate the world has four legs. I've seen four ducks flying under the rain, and I have greeted four people with more than a growl. Four, the kisses I've given my daughters at the school door, four hugs too and four wheels have put me on my way back home. Four red lights have interrupted my morning pace and four have been the sighs I have let out before turning on the computer.
It's been four months since we moved into my parents' house, while our new house, our shoebox, is being built. For four months we have been trying to fit this human puzzle. Sometimes it's hard and sometimes I need more air. Sometimes I take advantage, sometimes I despair. Sometimes I want to be quiet and sometimes I won't stop talking.

Life is a four-letter word

::

A veces me aprovecho, a veces me desespero.
