Live music, dead fish

I cannot recall when it was the last time I went to two concerts in a row. Last night Mc Enroe played a peculiar set of Will Oldham music, with an unusual line-up. I enjoyed it a lot. I had marked the date in my calendar long ago and had asked my mother-in-law to babysit the girls again.
Earlier on in the afternoon Princess Nutella had brought a goldenfish from a school visit to a breeding place. I must say I wasn't too happy about it. Later, when we came back from the gig my mother-in-law said she believed the fish to be dead. There it laid, frozen still. So this morning we told the girls the bad news: the poor little thing probably didn't recover from the trip, the excitement around it, the change of water, etc. They were very sad and then we planned to bury it in the patio, covered by a handful of jasmine flowers.
Thus, Princess Nutella and Princess Marmalade put on their shoes and when they were brushing their teeth Nutella announced that the goldenfish seemed to be moving its fins. Incredulous, husband and I checked on it... and yes. It wasn't dead. Apparently now we have a sleepyhead fish among us.

::

Me gustó mucho.
Incrédulos, husband y yo hemos ido a verlo... y era cierto. No estaba muerto.
