On the sweet path

A grateful calm has taken over me as I sit in front of a bowl of colorful candy, pretty and desirable, which will mean a sweeter week for me. I've accepted the change and now I only have to try to do my best. I truly and deeply appreciate your encouragement words and all the mails, calls and messages offering me your help and sharing your personal experience. I would say that I am not afraid of moving, I've survived a few moves and I've learned a lot from how my mother used to organize them. I was only afraid of the moving altering my commitments and of how moving from this house could also involve a change of life; this life I am leading now and that makes me so happy. Now I know everything is a matter of time.

On the other hand, if I look at the paragraph I have just written above, I almost feel ashamed of my fears and my jumble of thoughts. If I change my screen I see news from Japan, with terrible images, making me feel distant, powerless and small. Here I am, in front of my colorful candy, whimsical and superfluous, saying, deciding to let myself go through life as it lies before me.

love the candy pics.
beauty and sweetness (whatever those mean to you), a combo that works wonders too.

Me encanta.
