Summer is this, unexpected. The Baseball Project.

Last Friday we drove over an hour and a half to a medieval village where the Luna Lunera festival took place. It was a new chance of meeting old friends Steve Wynn and Linda Pitmon. This time they were bringing to us their new band The Baseball Project.
This band has also Peter Buck (of R.E.M) and Scott McCaughey (of Young Fresh Fellows) in it. A very interesting combo of friends. Buck was replaced this time by Mike Mills (also of R.E.M).
Thanks to David, an old friend, we had an amazing night, met the people from Marah and enjoyed two great shows (the Jayhawks were also playing that night). We stayed really late too, the latest I have since I'm a mother, I must admit.

The only thing that saddened me was not being able to stay another day and see Marah live and had another wondeful night with friends.

Clouds low enough to touch the mountains acompanied us along our drive.

Caminamos por el pueblo empedrado.
We walked through the old stoned village.

Reencuentro.

Woo Esti! What fab company you keep!

Looks like an amazing night was had. I have to say it feels that little bit more delicious when I get to stay out late like that. Especially when it is like a memory of my life before children (B.C.?).

Sweeter than wine. Any day.

what great company you keep girl! I'd love to have been a fly on one of those stoned walls. Every time I visit your blog I find a new surprise, something out of the ordinary that I don't find easily in any other average art blog. You surely are an out of the ordinary girl. Thanks for sharing bits of your interesting life.
