Murakami



This past weekend we've been to the Takeshi Murakami exhibit at the Guggenheim Museum. I loved to wander among the colourful sculptures and big paintings, when it was so grey outside. Husband managed to steal some pics while we walked around the rooms. I thought the girls would have a lotta fun too, but they didn't get the idea or enjoy the colors until they watched the short movies starring Kaikai and Kiki.

El pasado fin de semana fuimos a la exposición de Takeshi Murakami en el Guggenheim. Me gustó pasearme entre las coloridas esculturas y los grandes cuadros, cuando fuera el día era tan gris. Husband se las arregló para hacer unas fotos mientras andábamos por las salas. Creí que a las niñas les parecería una exposición divertida, a su medida, pero no parecieron conectar con ella hasta que vieron los cortos protagonizados por Kaikai y Kiki.

i like how your husband captured both you and the art piece in the same picture - it provided a really interesting perspective.
