The philosophy notebook

Regala un cuaderno a una sobrina de diez años y pasa esto... Mientras tu no tienes ni tiempo ni energía para empuñar un rotulador, ella vuelca sus inquietudes...
This is what happens when you give your ten year old niece a moleskine... She unloads her concerns while you, lacking time and energy, can't even brandish a pen...

"There's nothing like happiness"

"But you get old, or you are young..."

"Sometimes you have to look things closer"
"Because nobody's perfect"

"Drawn my Marta"
(Another niece of mine)

"Sometimes there are crossroads"
"The old woman"

"Because life goes round and round"
"And we can't help being what we are"

"A melody is different than a noise. That I can tell you"

"There's people that make you feel bad and make you cry. That's happened to me"

"Sometimes a little rest is not out of place"
"Because joy and happinnes are some of the very few things you cannot buy. Ho, ho, ho. Ja, ja..."
