A veces hay que hacer un alto en el camino. Tras romperse el brazo por una caída fortuita hace dos días, hoy operan a mi suegra. Así que el ritmo veraniego se ha visto interrumpido. La peor parte se la lleva ella, claro, que ya no podrá viajar, bricolajear, pintar o esas cosas que ella quería hacer este agosto. Una pequeña parada.
Sometimes you just have to make a stopover. After breaking her arm as she slipped on the street on a rainy day, my mother in law is undergoing a little surgery today. Therefore our summer rhythm has been broken. Of course hers is the worst part, since she won't be able to travel, paint or do anything of what she intended to do this August. A mandatory little stop.

my mum also fell and broke her wrist last week. she had an operation on friday and now she's free but not able to do much. she wants to swim and do gardening with me...

Oh my! hope you mother-in-law will get through her surgery alright. Sometimes stopping is not necessarily a bad thing...it gives us the opportunity to think and focus. Love your photos.
