So you wanna skate

Viernes, realidad y dibujo:
A mi marido le gustaría poder patinar más, mejor y más a menudo. También le gustaría que las caídas no doliesen tanto. Es lo que tiene hacerse mayor, el golpe y el dolor de espalda no desaparecen al rato.

A friday fact and a drawing:
My husband would like to skate more, better and more often. He would also like the fall not to hurt so much. That's the thing about growing older, the thump on the floor and the pain in the back stay with you a lot longer.

Me eloquece la nena con el skateboard... I want to be just as cool as she is, with her bangs and her hoodie. And her zapatos rojos!

Aw, that is very cute. Some things are just not fair! It makes you realise how resilient our kids are too!

And I love the little skater girl too. :-)

I love the way the olive green "takes off" when put next to the checks and the red shoes.

By coincidence, I wrote a little post-story a couple of days ago about the colour olive, and your drawing has now inspired me to take it further. Thanks for the inspiration!
