Matilda, the big pink button girl

Last Friday was cold and nasty, and after some hesitating, I went for a walk along the cliffs with a friend of mine. I forgot to take my camera, so we only stopped to look at the wildflowers flooding the slopes and field paths. By the time we were heading back to her place, it began to drizzle imperceptibly. Half an hout later the day had turned into dark winter.
Right there, safe and dry at home, using the spare time I had ahead of me and a bag full of paperscraps and cardboard, Matilda showed up: the girl who prepared tea for her imaginary friend every afternoon. You know how prone to make paper people I am and I didn't miss the occasion, and Matilda was so willing to wear her cardboard dress and her big pink button...
Today we have been picking a nice wallpaper and a frame for her. Matilda is about to leave.

Hoy hemos estado eligiendo papel pintado y marco.
