A Monday as any other Monday.
An ordinary Monday indeed.
I grab my pencils. I can hear the washing-machine working in the background.
When a bus drives down the street, the window panes rattle slightly and that pulls me out of my thoughts. I lift my nose, trying to catch the scent of inspiration.
But the spell is broken by the sound of two ill girls wanting attention.

I sense this ordinary Monday will turn into a fleeting Monday.
Not much work will be done.

Un lunes como otro cualquier.
Un lunes común y corriente.
Cojo mis lápices. De fondo oigo la lavadora funcionar.
Cuando pasa algún autobus por la calle, los cristales vibran ligeramente y me sacan de mis pensamientos. Alzo la nariz, husmeando la inspiración.
Pero el encantamiento se rompe con el sonido de dos personajillos algo griposos y con ganas de atención.
Este lunes común y corriente se intuye como un lunes fugaz.
No haré demasiado hoy.
