How did I get here? I don't know.
Yesterday we went over to a friend's. There, along the corridor of her beautiful house, some of my artwork which she's been collecting lined up. One of the very first acrylic paintings I made; an ink and naif drawing, one from the first series I did when I took up drawing after a two-year creative break; the first magical forest I dreamed of... Each piece was a bit of a beginning, a start. The paths I've taken in the past have been different and those artworks have now split completely from me.
I feel as if ideas, images, dreams pass through me. I don't recognized where they take form; I try to grab them with my own visual language and eventually, they show up. Depending on when they do, they happen to have a different style. Sometimes hurried, clumsy, innocent, dreamy... However, I wouldn't know now how to get back. I believe my language has consolidated and I cannot help to do what I do how I do it.
... And I hope you like this one too.

¿Cómo he llegado hasta aquí?
