We are a Happy Family - How to play

Top: Lady Desidia's cards (the D family)
Middle: My cards (the E family)
Bottom: Alexandra Hedberg's cards (the F family)

We are a Happy Family has its origin in a traditional English card game.
Our take of this game is formed by eight families of four characters each, designed by eight international artists.
I'm afraid that the instructions of how to play that we have printed and enclosed might be incomplete. So here you have the full version.

Game instructions:
The cards are shuffled and four are dealt to every player. The remaining cards are set on a pile on the table. The idea of the game is to collect whole families of four characters. This is done by asking another player whether they have a certain card. If they don't have it, it is their turn to ask. If they do, they have to pass it to the first player, who can ask again until he/she fails. When this happens, he/she must get a card from the remaining pile. Then it's the turn of the player to his/her right.
Once a player has completed a family, the four cards are displayed and cannot be asked for again. Play continues until the eight families are completed. The player with most wins.

Our family used to play this game when we were children. I had forgotten all about it. Love your idea of making your own families. I think I will try to track down a pack of these cards for my son. Have a good day.

Hola.
¡Yo ya he recibido mis cartas!
Saludos.
