Sleep & talk

............................................................................

Seeing how different my daughters are never fails to marvel me.
Even when it comes to sleeping.
Princess Marmalade falls into a sound sleep as soon as her head touches her pillow, a deep and heavy breathed sleep. Princess Nutella turns and turns in her bed, calls for us, talks to us until she falls asleep too.
Marmalade has lots of nightmares but nevers wakes up, while Nutella lately wakes up with no reason at four a.m., willing to talk.
A couple of nights ago, after getting up a few times to reassure and calm her down, trying to convince her to go back to sleep, I elbowed husband and said: "now it's your turn". Husband usually goes straight to the point and so he tried to reason with her:

Husband: "N, it's late, go back to sleep, everybody's sleeping now"
Nutella, after thinking for a second: "Not in China or Japan"
She's four years old.

Husband came back to bed. Nutella ended up sleeping again.

you have a wise daughter:) you can also tell her that at the moment people hardly sleep on the north too. the sun doesn´t want to go really down at all, nights are very bright and it´s very difficult to get sleepy.
i would just want to stay up all night long and enjoy the bright summer nights:)

Me encanta.

JA!)
