The hand project XI: communication

Erin's hands

Erin was one of the first bloggers to feature my blog. Through her moving way of writting, her enthusiasm and her strong will to look for beauty everywhere in the virtual world, I have drawn her hands. Since I don’t know her personally I just had to follow my impressions of her. It’s the first time I draw the hands of a stranger. It won’t be the last time. For me it’s important to know the person. Well it feels as I know her a little.
There’s an ocean between us and a couple of hands getting us together. It’s a moment, a connection, words back and forth, images and sensations.

Today's music:
Jesse Malin, Tindersticks, Belle & Sebastian...

OMG Esti--- you have this SPOT on. The elements of nature, the floral accents--- the illustrative nature.

This makes me cry. Truly. I'll proudly display these on my walls for years to come. THANK YOU.

You've found so nice symbols for the communicative character of Erin( I guess, you're absolutely right in how you see her :)
