Ese día que promete bostezos y legañas.
Los lunes crees que tienes toda una semana por delante.
Lunes tras lunes, pecas de lo mismo.
Luego el tiempo desaparece, pero no desistes cada lunes en creer lo mucho que va a dar de sí esta semana.
Este lunes se va nuestra familia de vuelta a Lanzarote.
Este lunes llueve.
Este cuadro ya no está conmigo porque lo ha comprado una chica encantadora.
Un cuadro que verá los lunes en otra casa.
Monday.
The day that promises yawns and eyes full of sleep.
Mondays you believe you have a whole week ahead of you.
Monday after Monday you think the same thing.
Then time vanishes, but you don't give up believing in the loads of tasks you'll achieve within the week.
This Monday our visitors are flying back to Lanzarote.
This Monday it's raining.
This drawing I have parted with, because a lovely girl has bought it.
It'll enjoy its Mondays in someone else's home now.
