El viaje

Title: The trip / El viaje
Magical Forests series 2009

Listening to Pink Floyd, I have one of those days. It's raining outside and it's cold. Apparently the deal is one spring day for five winter days... So it goes. I keep on drawing. I shiver a little, I turn up the heat. I think of the people who are on an Easter trip, with more or less luck. I like watching the fat drops hitting my window panes and the neighbour roofs, forcing the doves to fly.

"The Trip" really matches my mood. I am slowly meeting more and more bloggers in person, making small trips to get together, and I think your drawing has captured the feeling I have when we part and return to our blogs.

Of course, you are probably laughing now at what your drawings bring out in your viewers. Unexpected huh?

In any case, I think I may be your very first commenter on this post. SCORE!!!

those ribbons - or belts - the girls are holding make me think of snakes. you know the colourful lethal ones. Are they called coral snakes?

Thanks for the feedback. I truly appreciatte; especially because I'm in such a creative state lately... that I don't have the time to think and watch it from a distance...

alexandra, you always seem to hit the right spot... I wanted the ribbons to be snakes, and the snakes to be ribbons... sort of... :)
