On my way there

This is a little peek at what I'm currently doing. Few days before I have the exhibit my mind is loaded with new images to develope. I should stick to the magical forests, I know, but I can't help but let some of these characters run away from the scenery...

Intriguing.

Will you be able to take photos of the exhibition for us? I'd come if I could!

¿Habrá canapés? ¿O es demasiado pronto para eso?

jorge, de canapés nada de nada... quizá cuando subamos al siguiente peldaño unos regalices rojos... ;)

Thanks for sharing your working space and process. I love to get the chance to "sneak a peak" over someone's shoulder when working.

Ahh, so nice to see your workspace and get a sense of size. This is so exciting, your exhibition :)

p.s. you had asked about my illustration, the size is 9 X 12 inches, i think.

Have a nice day Esti!

I know absolutely no Spanish so I am having great fun wondering if Jorge really asked in his commentbox whether you'll be serving canapes at the exhibition. In my imagination your response said "No, but there'll be lovely wine," and then he responds in the next box "White wine would be great."

But I'm sure I'm just being silly, and the commentbox conversation was really about something much more serious.

I guess I'm just bummed that I can't come to the exhibition ;)

oh, eleanor, you made me laugh... I wish I had said what you understood... but i'm afraid jorge was teasing me about the exhibit... and i answered that whenever i reach the next level i'll make sure there'll be red licorice at the opening (i'm a famous red licorice eater among my friends...) and he said he hoped for some kinda licorice to be on the menu...

the fact is that this is a very small exhibit at a café, with just ten pieces of mine. the good thing is that it's a cool place and that they sell quite a lot.

So i'm afraid there won't be an opening as such; just me putting up the framed drawings and maybe treating some friends to a drink.

Thanks everybody for the encouraging words.

Eleanor, we were actually talking about red liquorice (which would be Esti's main course every day if she could) and another variety stuffed with a white paste... I believe Esti would prefer liquorice and soda better than canapes and wine, and I have no problem with it as long as it doesn't become a "trademark" jejej...
