The making of the calendar

Do you remember this and this? Here I am selecting pieces and gluing them one by one, little by little, lovingly, patiently.

Pictures from second at the top to bottom:

My mother in law brought hundreds of buttons. Run with my fingers through the stacks felt great. The girls helped to rule out some while I picked those who suited the calendar best. Or so I thought. Finally I put some string through the buttons as the way of hanging the calendar.

Thanks for your words on the finished calendar, and especially to those who pre-ordered it without even seeing it.

¿Os acordais de esto y de esto? Aqui estoy seleccionando las piezas recortadas y pegandolas una a una, poco a poco, pacientemente, cuidadosamente, en cada calendario.

Segunda y siguientes fotos:

Mi suegra trajo a casa cientos de botones. Entremeter los dedos en los montones me hacía sentir genial. Las niñas ayudaron a descartar unos cuantos, mientras yo elegía aquellos que me parecía que podían quedar mejor. Al final pusimos una cuerda para colgar el calendario.
